Are you using the Shakespeare character from Midsummer Night's Dream - if so, remember that this character did NOT have affection for the girl that was digging him...so you might want to watch that in case the audience is able to draw that allusion to that character - which might happen as there aren't that many characters in lit with that name (although the spelling is different)
Great idea though and the pics are awesome. Will get voted best vegan film of the year FOR SURE.

Best,
LyndsayVeganCowGirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03860542537962810102noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8976780771782755275.post-61687335546473629832007-07-13T11:16:00.000-07:002007-07-13T11:16:00.000-07:00oh peter you dont miss a thing do you hehehethank ...oh peter
you dont miss a thing do you hehehe
thank you so much for the visit and words of wisdom. and you're right. i have been playing with colors and have kept those thought in the back of my mind. these were done to help me shape the overall color scheme, which i'll be i've set a deadline to around november or december.
theres a lot to come =)
cheers...i mean Word Pete =)3d Character Artirst * Photograherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02686389554918578594noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8976780771782755275.post-6493449934151740902007-07-13T09:05:00.000-07:002007-07-13T09:05:00.000-07:00Hey Farrukh,Before you get too far along with your...Hey Farrukh,

Before you get too far along with your film, I just want to mention something I think you should be aware of. Though the multi-coloured frogs you're experimenting with may look more fun to the audience, those types of frogs are that exotic looking for a reason - to ward off predators that might want to eat them! Many of your viewers are likely to recognize them as the toxic "Arrow-Poison Frogs", and therefore it won't be credible for some chef to take them off to the kitchen to eat.

If I were you, I'd keep them in more traditional, domestic frog greens, browns and yellows so as not to create a story problem. I really like the very cartoony designs you've done in your early pencil concepts. Try to retain that fun feel for expression even if you're doing this as a CG film. Fun characterization through lively facial expressions and body language is going to be the key to hooking your audience, not vivid colours on their physical designs. There's my two cents worth!

PetePete Emsliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01451607722482352366noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8976780771782755275.post-10604793045520548352007-07-13T08:45:00.000-07:002007-07-13T08:45:00.000-07:00mmmmmm....frogs.....in color......hehe, looks good...mmmmmm....frogs.....in color......hehe, looks good, keep it up...the work I mean!

-bigmacAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04947689785496389906noreply@blogger.com
